SPORTUNION Kärnten is an umbrella sport federation with 403 different sport clubs in 63 different sports with over 40.000 members. We offer our members: personal and competent support in the field of: club foundation, club events, financial support for the clubs (kids and youth, fitness- and health-sport, inclusion and integration, school cooperation’s)

The SPORTUNION Kärnten is engaged in popular, fitness and health sports.

The focus of our organisation are our sports clubs. We see ourselves as partners and want to support them through counselling and involving them in different health related projects. This should contribute to a dynamic development in the field of sports and health throughout Carinthia and therefore also in Austria: e.g.

support during the phase of founding a sports club
counselling in all financial and legal issues
financial support for competitions, youth sports, sports facility construction….
professional communication
education and training for instructors
focus on grassroot sports, health and integration

We believe in conveying ethical values and tolerance through sport and cultural activities. Values such as fair play, intercultural understanding, a moral tenor towards an ethical sport, teamwork and personal development through sport are central themes which we address.
